About the event

Join wildlife photographer Glyn Pacan for a butterfly photography walk. Glyn will lead a talk on butterfly identification, habitat and breeding cycle and then provide some information on how to take fantastic photos of these wonderful insects! No photography experience necessary - just come along with your camera or smart phone.

Celebrate our amazing meadows at Nene Wetlands as part of the Farming for the Future project and National Meadows Day.

This event is being run by the Farming for the Future project which is one of sixteen National Heritage Lottery funded projects forming the Nenescape Landscape Partnership, working within the Nene Valley

We are working with farmers and landowners in this catchment to help restore and create meadow and wetland habitats and prevent watercourse pollution through the provision of capital items on farmland.

More than 97% of our meadows have been lost nationally and so a primary aim of our work is to celebrate, protect and conserve the few remaining meadows that we have, and enable a better understanding of these crucial habitats to local communities.
