Remembering Terence Ilott, a dedicated supporter of the Trust who will be greatly missed.
Terence Ilott

The Wildlife Trust is sad to announce that Terence Ilott, one the longest standing volunteers at Pegsdon Hills, passed away in May this year. This was a terrible and devastating shock to family and friends, including all staff and volunteers at the Trust, who had the pleasure of working with and knowing Terence.

Terence was an all-round nice man.  All who knew him will remember his warmth, his humour and quiet wit. He volunteered at Pegsdon Hills for decades, offering practical assistance on volunteer work parties and with general wardening of the site.  Terence also gave his support, knowledge and practical help to innumerable causes and projects to protect and enhance the natural world.

Our condolences and sympathies go out to the family and all the people close to Terence.

The world will be a poorer place for his loss.
