It's really important to keep moving, even if you are stuck inside. Have a go at imitating some favourite animal poses.

Activity: Take some time to stop and listen

Birds are very active at this time of year as they prepare to nest. Open a window, stand outside or visit your local reserve and have a listen to the sounds.

You can also read about how Rebekah listens to wildlife noises.

Robin

Robins are probably the most recognisable bird in the UK. They are often quite brave so you can get closer and watch them sing.

They have a very musical call made up of 10 or so cheery whistles.

Fox

Red foxes are generally quite silent as they prowl about but they do bark. As they are small, it's quite a high-pitched noise.

They are the only wild member of the dog family and are mostly nocturnal.

Rabbit

Rabbit

Despite being generally hard to hear as they scamper off and hide quickly when they see or hear someone, rabbits actually make a range of noises, from clicking, snorting, grunting and even purring!

Rabbits live in large groups in underground burrow systems known as ‘warrens’.
