About the event

Join nature enthusiast and Wildlife Trust for Beds, Cambs and Northants staff member Rebecca Neal for a night walk on Cambourne Nature Reserve to celebrate International Bat Night. We'll walk around 2 miles at a gentle pace with bat detectors to hear these fascinating night-time hunters, and we'll also listen out for hooting owls and barking deer.

This walk is aimed at adults but interested older children are welcome.

Mobility

We aim to make our sessions as accessible as possible and are happy to make reasonable adjustments to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy them. Cambourne Nature Reserve has flat, accessible paths, however, since we will be walking at night, you will need to be comfortable navigating the paths in the dark. Please contact us to discuss your accessibility needs.

What to bring

Please be prepared for cool weather. Long-sleeves and long trousers will protect against bites, stings and scratches. You will need sturdy footwear and a torch (we have some spare in needed).

Parking information
