Work parties

Come and join one of our work parties for a wildlife work-out. It’s a good way to get some fresh air, keep fit and make a huge difference for local wildlife

Work parties take place on many of our nature reserves, as well as other sites across the three counties.

Generally no skills are needed as training and tools are provided. You will need to wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear and bring something to eat and drink. Please contact the task leader of the work party you are interested in before attending, as they can provide you with directions and other details.

The first work parties listed for each county are run regularly by Trust staff and usually have capacity for new volunteers. The smaller, reserve-based work parties are more informal and infrequent.

Check out the list below for what is happening near you and for who to contact. For more about the tasks involved see the midweek team role description.

Want to know more about what a work party is like? Read the blog by a Brampton volunteer, Alison Palmer, or the Nene Valley Blogger, volunteer John Abbott.
