Bedfordshire

Bedfordshire Youth Rangers - once a month

Bedfordshire Youth Rangers meet once a month on reserves around the county including Flitwick Moor, Cooper's Hill, Totternhoe and Blow's Downs. We meet one Saturday or Sunday per month in term-time, with mid-week sessions in school holidays.  For more information please contact Gerry Turner on geraldine.turner@wildlifebcn.org

Luton Youth Rangers

Are you:

  • 13-18 years old? (13-21 if SEND)
  • Looking to learn new skills?
  • Living in Luton, and enjoy exploring the area?
  • Keen to work with others to improve natural spaces across the town?
  • Looking to make new friends?
  • Interested in conservation and wildlife?

Join our Bradger's Hill Youth Rangers! Tasks will include cutting back overgrown paths, fixing steps, planting and watering trees. Tools, drinks and safety equipment are provided.

Cambridgeshire

Paxton Pits Youth Rangers - one Sunday each month

Youth Rangers of the Fens - every other month

Regular sessions for young people (aged 11-17) to take part in practical conservation tasks and surveys to help wildlife. We meet once every two months on a weekend during term-time, with mid-week sessions in school holidays. Sessions take place at Wildlife Trust sites in Peterborough and the the Great Fen. West Cambs 100s Youth Rangers- mostly monthly

This is a new group with activities on offer such as practical volunteering, socials, workshops, talks and walks. Exactly what we do will be decided by the group. We'll meet roughly monthly either in school holidays or on Saturday mornings. Sessions will be in various locations between Gamlingay, Cambourne, and Trumpington. Northamptonshire

Nene Valley Youth Rangers- Approximately once every month

Get together regularly at our Nene Wetlands and Summer Leys Visitor Centres and elsewhere in the county for practical conservation, wildlife surveys and learning outdoor bush craft skills.
