We have launched an exciting scheme for local schools and community groups to join the Wildlife Watch gang!
The School Membership scheme is designed to provide schools with the resources and support needed to create unique and inspiring outdoor learning opportunities and will enable schools to work towards eco-schools awards and sustainable schools status.
By becoming a member, your school will support the work of the Wildlife Trust in protecting wildlife, educating children, and encouraging everyone to enjoy wildlife and wild places.
For more information see the Schools Membership leaflet or contact the Wildlife Watch Officer. If you would like to sign up please download and complete the leaflet with your credit or debit card details or enclose a cheque.
We have provided a choice for schools by offering two different levels of membership. Community groups such as nurseries, youth clubs and other children’s groups can also get involved in helping wildlife. Sign up to one of the membership options below and help wildlife in your local area!
- School Member: £50
The School Member tier includes a welcome pack, leaflets and certificate of membership. Schools will receive the Wildlife Watch magazine – packed with articles, activities and competitions and Link magazine – a magazine for environmental educators. Members will also receive information about wildlife training workshops run by the Wildlife Trust.
- School Watch Member: £125
In addition to the above, schools that join the School Watch scheme are offered a session with a Wildlife Trust staff member, the opportunity to set up a Wildlife Watch group, access to the Wildlife Watch website which is filled with resources, activity ideas and online games and use of the Wildlife Watch branding. They also receive the local Wildlife Watch newsletter, two free places on Wildlife training workshops and invitation to the Wildlife Watch Leaders conference.
