Plenty of seasonal visitors are migrating and murmurating over our three counties this Christmas. Our nature reserves provide essential larders and resting stations for many birds, both those who have completed arduous journeys and our own native birds who need our help now more than at any other time of year.
It’s one of the few places in the Great Ouse Valley where you can see wetland birds and wildlife up close without disturbing them. The potential to increase the wildlife spectacle for people – whilst still protecting animals, plants and insects – is huge. By making a donation today you can help us achieve this.
We must find £182,000 of match funding in order to be awarded with the generous grant of £1.89 million from The Heritage Lottery Fund to transform a huge area of land at the heart of the Great Fen in Cambridgeshire in to wildlife-rich habitat.
