A fantastic opportunity to transform 182 hectares of land at the heart of the Great Fen.
Only 300 hectares of precious chalk grassland remain in Bedfordshire. Help us manage this habitat, vital for the scarce Duke of Burgundy butterfly
Help us protect valuable pockets of land with no legal protection

An incredible 1,660 local wildlife sites in our area have no legal protection - but are vital pockets of land that allow wildlife to adapt to a changing climate. Help us to protect these secret spaces.
We are improving habitat at Totternhoe nature reserve in Bedfordshire especially for very rare butterflies. They rely on the special chalk grassland to feed and breed, but in recent years the quality and quantity of grassland has reduced. Please help support this vital habitat work.
The Great Fen
We must find £182,000 of match funding in order to be awarded with the generous grant of £1.89 million from The Heritage Lottery Fund to transform a huge area of land at the heart of the Great Fen in Cambridgeshire in to wildlife-rich habitat.
