Up to 3 voluntary placements are available within the Northamptonshire reserves team.  You will gain experience in all aspects of habitat management for conservation, including practical, survey and office-based skills. 

As well as gaining knowledge and experience from working with the skilled reserves team, you will also get opportunities to work with and lead volunteer groups, participate with in-house training and receive external training and assessment in chainsaw use, brushcutter use and First Aid. Applicants should have a valid driving licence, be reliable and able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week for 9-12 months, capable of using power tools and machinery and enjoy physical work outdoors in all weathers. Good team working skills and self-motivation are essential. Some previous experience of practical conservation work would be an advantage but is not essential.

Closing Date: Midnight Friday 8th August 2021 with interviews held the week commencing 12th August 2021.
