The Voluntary Communities and Wildlife Officer will undertake a wide range of tasks. These will include supporting the delivery of community events and activities, and outreach programmes to a range of audiences. One of the challenges the role will undertake with us will be to engage with dog walkers creatively on our reserves. Young people are at the core of our outreach work. The role will help us to increase attendance at Wildlife Youth Ranger Scheme that is aimed at teenagers.
An important part of our work is communication with volunteers, target audiences and general members of the public. The role will help support our communications, helping to encourage attendance at events, bolster school bookings and keep our volunteer wardens up to date.
Closing Date: Monday February 10th 5pm.
Equality and Diversity: We value diversity and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
