In August 2019 the Wildlife Trust for Beds, Cambs & Northants Farming for the Future project created a series of scrapes and shallow ditches at locations around the Nene Valley to encourage more overwintering and breeding waders to visit the area.

We are now looking for volunteers to visit a site on a monthly basis between October and May to conduct bird surveys to find out how well these new features are working. Could you help?

We're looking for volunteers to visit: Upton Country Park, Summer Leys, Irthlingborough Lakes and Meadows, Stanwick Lakes, Aldwincle and Oundle.
