Giving a whole Lotto thanks

Monday 4th December 2017

Proceeds from the National Lottery help fund some of our vital projects via the Heritage Lottery fund - so we're saying a Big Thank You to players of the Lottery

Proceeds from the National Lottery help fund many of our projects via the Heritage Lottery Fund - from the Nene Wetlands, where the Trust received a grant of £662,800 for the Into the Valley project (funding from which helped create a sculpture trail plus facilitated vital conservation work including protecting a sensitive heronry from disturbance, restoring ditches and managing scrub and grassland), to the Great Fen.

As a way of saying thank you to the HLF and players of the National Lottery, from Wednesday 13 to Friday 15 December at our Nene Wetlands Visitor Centre we have a cute badger bug (below left) for any visitor who presents a National Lottery ticket or scratchcard.
