Drop in family fun to discover more about what the natural world does for us!

Join us to discover more about just how amazing the natural world is and all the very important jobs it does for us, by taking part in lots of fun activities at the environmental education centre and grounds. Some activities take place indoors if wet or cold. Drop in anytime in between. 

Park at the main car park at Paxton Pits Nature Reserve and walk down to the Environmental Education Centre. Please take extreme care when accessing the centre as the quarry has re-opened and there are large lorries using the access road all day.

Please wear long trousers. steps, uneven surfaces, slippery when wet, steep slopes, rough gravel paths.

All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, no dogs allowed in the environmental education area.
