Invertebrates Wildlife Training Workshop

Ants are among the best-known and most fascinating of invertebrates. This introductory day will explain many of the intriguing facts of ant biology, and give insights into their often astonishing behaviour. Ideal insects for monitoring, participants will be shown methods which can be employed to sample ants, they will be trained to recognise ant genera, and to identify the 20 or so local species.
